North Westmeath Hospice launch Bewley's Big Coffee Morning

This is a a promotional video for the 2023 North Westmeath Hospice launch Bewley's Big Coffee Morning, which I did when working with the North Westmeath Examiner. My role here was to film the interview and decided upon the cover shots, (filmed on my phone), when the editor of the newspaper asked the Qs.

I used a mixture of editing services to complete this project from premier pro to KineMaster.

02

Showreel For Market

At Dún Na Sí, my main responsibilities included collaborating with the marketing
team to create social media advertisements, greeting customers, managing the reception desk, and handling payments. I focused on creating a welcoming environment for visitors, often engaging them in friendly conversation and asking questions like "Where are you coming from?" to profile their backgrounds for use in future media campaigns.

I closely worked with the marketing director, who taught me how to create attention grabbing videos. The video supplied here was a mock video showcasing there very first showreel for their market. While editing this video I made sure the transitions worked well with the music and kept it under a minute as was required.

Heart of Ireland festival in Athlone

As part of the crew responsible for filming the Heart of Ireland festival in Athlone, I played a key role in ensuring smooth operations and high-quality footage. My responsibilities included:

Camera Setup: Positioned and set up cameras for optimal coverage, aiding in making real-time adjustments during the interval for improved angles in the second half of the show.
Cable Management: Minimized safety risks by securely taping down wires along the edges of the walls to prevent tripping hazards.
Audio Control: Managed and adjusted audio levels live during the production to ensure clear sound quality throughout the event.
Graphic Preparation: Designed and prepared the on-screen graphics for the introduction of each performer, ensuring the mixer had them ready for seamless integration during the broadcast.
Equipment Management: Assisted with packing up all equipment at the end of the festival, ensuring everything was stored and handled properly.
This role required strong attention to detail, technical knowledge of camera and audio equipment, and a focus on safety and efficiency during live production.

Her Move Programme 2024

While working for the Mullingar Youth Project I created a small report video which displayed their achievement last year in promoting young girls to participate in Sports and other activities. This was a fun project to work on, thanks to the music choice, which gave the video an overall joyful and exciting atmosphere.

I edited the video using adobe premier rush, which was a great tool to use to showcase this wonderful event.

Reflection arrival training

While working with the Mullingar Youth Project, I created and edited a reflection video based on training I had undertaken. I used Adobe Premiere Pro for the editing process and sourced royalty-free music from Pixabay. This was a fun and rewarding project that allowed me to focus on the creative skills I enjoy while also reflecting on everything I had learned.
