01

The Runner

On this shoot my job was the equipment manager, I was responsible for ordering the equipment and making sure it all got back to the tech person in the Kairos studio.

Along with this I contributed with this project in other ways through discussing shots, acting as an extra, and managing the light placements.

The Runner was nominated to the Dublin International Film Festival which my team was over joyed with. This is a picture of me attending the award. I also acted as a script editor for this project which you can read here.

The Averagers podcast

This project displayed my group carrying out an interview based around the medium of a podcast. We interviewed a social media manger who has experience and getting his view of working as a freelancer prior to this job.

My role in this was to help research what Qs to asks, acting as a co-interviewer and being the editor of the podcast, (which was my main role). I used adobe audition to edit this podcast and I found this software to be really great and having very accessible features.

03

Pollen Relief advet

As part of a short online course in Digital Media Design at UCD, I created an advert for a fictional brand promoting hay fever relief products.

For this project, I wrote the script and sourced video clips, images, and music from free media websites. I used Adobe Premiere Rush for video editing, and Affinity Designer to create logos, text, and other visual elements. The goal was to produce a cohesive and engaging advert that would effectively persuade viewers to choose the product.

I really enjoyed working on this assignment—especially because I based it on something I’m personally familiar with: hay fever. That connection made the creative process more fun and relatable.

04

The Method Man

As part of a college project, I co-wrote and helped produce a 12-minute short film. I was actively involved throughout the entire production process, both on and off set.

My responsibilities included completing actor release forms, contributing to the scriptwriting, managing equipment (often being the first on set to collect and set up gear), and assisting with set design. I was present on every shoot day and supported the team across various tasks to ensure a smooth and successful production.

This project gave me valuable, hands-on experience in collaborative filmmaking and strengthened my skills in organisation, problem-solving, and creative teamwork.
