About Me.
My name is Dylan Cahill, I'm 22 year old, and I have a particular interest in Media and Film production through the multiple projects I have worked on over the past four years which has helped me improve both my soft and hard skills while studying in Maynooth University and beyond it. Some of the skills I have acquired are scriptwriting, editing, and equipment management. So by exploring this site you will find someone who is hardworking and is able to work both independently and collaboratively in team projects.

Through this degree I have learned how to combine creative and practical storytelling along with critically understanding media along with researching different media culture, genres and industries, along with developing media productions practices such as in the areas of programming and editing. A milestone I have gained through this degree is seeing a 3 minute film that I co-wrote and worked on to be accepted by the Dublin International Film Festival.

My time at Columba College Killucan has given me the necessary tools and knowledge to succeed in my education and personal lives during the 5 years I was there through learning skills such as performing presentations and making me realise I wanted to be apart of something creative in my future career, through classes such as Art, which is why I decided to explore a career in Media.
My main accomplishment would be receiving the confuses award for the most developed student.
